Associate of Specialized Technology (A.S.T.), Pennsylvania Culinary Institute

Chef Scott Fetty is a 1990 Pennsylvania Culinary Institute alumnus and has been a chef instructor at PCI since 1999.

In 2004, he was a member of the American Academy of Chefs (AAC) Culinary Regional Team USA, which earned three gold medals and a third-place showing out of 54 teams at the IKA, or Culinary Olympics, in Erfurt, Germany.

In 2005, the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) named him Chef of the Year.

Chef Fetty was educated at West Virginia University and PCI. He has also studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and the Ecole d'Lavarrene in Burgundy.

Before his tenure at PCI, he was sous chef at the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh under Keith Coughenour, Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.). The Duquesne Club has been rated the top city club in the country.

Chef Fetty has earned numerous medals in culinary competitions around the country and recently won three gold and two silver medals at the American Culinary Classic as part of the ACF Culinary Team USA.

He will represent the United States again at the 2008 Culinary Olympics.
